We are changing the way we communicate test results.
From 14th January 2025 we will no longer send out text messages to patients informing them that test results have come back normal. Patients can access their test results through the NHS App.
Results requiring any action or follow up will continue to be communicated in the same way as before – usually a text message and/or telephone call.
We would like to encourage patients to use the NHS App to view all of their test results. For more information, please see this page on our website. We understand that some of our patients might not be confident using technology in this way, and we are happy to support you to start using the NHS app.
We run regular NHS App drop-in sessions and work with local community groups to provide training, support, and equipment. You are also welcome to pop in or contact us at any time to ask for help with using the NHS App.
