You are now registered as a patient with Minet Green Health Practice and can now access our full range of services.
Below is a very brief introduction to accessing care at Minet Green Health Practice.
GP Appointments
All GP appointments are booked via our Total Triage system. Appointment requests are reviewed throughout the day by our clinicians and prioritised based on the urgency of your request. You will usually be contacted on the same day to arrange an appointment.
The easiest way to submit a request is to contact us via Accurx. There is further information about how our appointment system works here.
Your Medical Record
If you were previously registered with a GP in England, your previous GP record will be transferred over to us digitally. This should happen almost immediately but can take longer.
If your last GP was in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, we may need to manually transfer your previous medical record. If you have a copy of your record that you can share with us that would be helpful, otherwise we will contact your previous GP to request a copy.
If this is your first GP since moving to the UK, you may benefit from a New Patient Health Check. Please contact us to request this.
After completing your patient registration form, you will have been asked to complete an optional follow-up form to help us understand your needs better. If you have a moment to complete this additional form it would be very helpful.
Repeat Prescriptions
Details of any repeat prescriptions should have been transferred over to us with your medical record. However if you take any regular medication please request this from us a week before you are due to run out to avoid any interruptions to your treatment.
The easiest ways to order repeat prescriptions are:
- via Accurx
- using your NHS account (in the NHS App or through the NHS website)
- by asking your nominated pharmacy to make a request on your behalf
We do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone. For more details on repeat prescriptions at the practice please see here.
Immunisations
If you or your child have not received the full schedule of routine childhood vaccinations offered by the NHS then we can arrange for you to receive catch up vaccinations. Please contact us to request this.
NHS App
The NHS App allows you to manage your health from your device. You can contact the practice, view your medical record, request repeat prescriptions, and much more. There is lots of information on our website here about how to get set up with the app and how to get the most out of it.
You can also pop in at any time and one of the team will be available to help.
Cancelling and rebooking appointments
If you are unable to attend an appointment at the practice we would be grateful if you could contact us to let us know. To cancel an appointment you can:
- phone us on 0203 930 3533 during opening times
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- contact us via Accurx
If you need to rebook your appointment you will usually need to give us a call.
